Stechelberg to Schilthorn by cableway via Gimmelwald, Mürren and Birg. For this route you will need to take the 141 bus which leaves from outside Lauterbrunnen train station to the Stechelberg cable car station. The bus journey from Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg takes approximately 12 minutes. Visiting the Sphinx Observatory is one of the best things to do in Luaterbrunnen, but it comes with a price tag. Once you have visited Wengen and wandered in the streets of this village, you can skip the train ride and just hike down to Lauterbrunnen and continue your trip from there.
