The difference between how the lighting technologies are lighting up the screen is a much bigger factor in making the 101 screen much better than the 001, and actual brightness doesn't have very much to do with it. If you increased the brightness of the 001 to a lot higher than the 101, it still wouldn't look better. But I digress!

GBA SP AGS-001 Resets to Startup. I own a Game Boy Advance SP, specifically an AGS-001 model (Yes, I know, the AGS-101 screen is much better). It worked flawlessly and I was able to complete Super Mario Bros. 3 on it at one point. However, now I can barely get into a level without the Game Boy randomly returning back to the startup ding.
