No worries, neither the X-Type Jaguar diesel, nor the Mk III Mondeo diesel on which it was based, ever had a diesel particulate filter. The dual mass flywheel is entirely different. That is a device designed to cushion torque reactions between the engine and the clutch and gearbox. DPF = Diesel Particulate Filter. DMF = Dual Mass Flywheel.

My old MG Magnette did 120,000 miles and maintained an oil pressure of 45 psi hot. I can see the need for cars fitted with DPF filters needing that oil change annually as the oil does get diluted. I assume that the newer oils can cope with this and maintain lubricity. Once or twice a year I add a DPF cleaner to a tank of diesel to help keep it .
