The driver side heated seat isnt working on my X5, the lights for the switch never go on so think the element is ok, it started as a kind of intermittent problem. Found 1 fuse in the boot for the seats and its ok. Is there any other fuses or relays i should be looking for. Thanks and great forum everyone.

I got it all apart tonight and it was indeed the heater control valve, which was the first thing I suspected. But I figure why not flush the heater core while in there, it takes literally like 5 minutes. Looking for one to get over nighted now since I have to drive my motorcycle to work in this freezing weather.
